from what i am aware of platemail is the better...

The best is always to mix and match. People that buy 1 outfit do it for style, and so they dont clash. Mix and matchers do it for the best of both worlds and effectiveness. Don't worry about style, but about comfort when the baddies are beating on them.

I know the question is Platemail vs Knight's Armor but wouldn't Gladiator with Knight's boots be even better since it is 80 +20 vs. Physical and gives +6 energy (assuming another helm)?

Or am I missing something (aside from the Platemail and Knight's looking better)...
